Job summary

Iredell Health System is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures across all age groups, ensuring patient safety and accurate results. The role supports CQI activities and maintains readiness for varied departmental tasks.

The incumbent will contribute to quality improvement efforts and adapt to a dynamic hospital environment, handling routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine by the AART or NMTCB or registry eligible.
• Graduate of approved program in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures and related tasks on neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Assists with departmental CQI activities and hospital CQI initiatives.
• Performs other duties related to the Nuclear Medicine Department.

Requirements

• Graduate of approved program in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Average physical demands involve moving/transporting patients, lifting accessory equipment and pushing wheelchairs or stretchers.
