Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. You will work closely with physicians to ensure safe and accurate image acquisition and data collection.

Candidates should have ARRT or NMTCB certification (or eligibility) and BLS certification, with either a Nuclear Medicine Technology program degree or an Associate's Degree or higher.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program with ARRT or NMTCB certification.
• Alternatively, an Associate's Degree or higher with ARRT or NMTCB certification.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
• Operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure safe and accurate acquisition of images and data.

Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operating imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes. Works closely with physicians to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases

REQUIRED

1. Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB OR meets the eligibility requirements for certification. Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.

OR

Associate's Degree or higher AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB

1. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
