Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapy.

You will work closely with physicians to ensure safe and accurate image acquisition and data collection to support diagnosis and treatment. This role requires ARRT/NMTCB certification or eligibility and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program and certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB or eligible with certification within 6 months.
• Associate’s Degree or higher and certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT or NMTCB.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operate imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, accurate image acquisition for diagnosis and treatment.

Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operating imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes. Works closely with physicians to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB OR meets the eligibility requirements for certification. Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.

OR

Associate’s Degree or higher AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB

• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
