Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, Georgia is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures and quality control across cardiac and vascular imaging. The role requires completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program and specific licenses, with a sign-on bonus available and full-time scheduling.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of experience, and hold ARDMS/ARRT NM, CNMT, or NMTCB credentials with BCLS.

Qualifications

Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB required.
1 year of experience required.
ARDMS or ARRT Nuclear Medicine Tech credential upon hire OR CNMT credential upon hire OR NMTCB credential upon hire; BCLS required.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures per protocols and procedures.
Performs quality control procedures in accordance with guidelines; supports advanced imaging and cross-sectional anatomy/physiology as needed.

Responsibilities:

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines. Demonstrates ability to perform advance imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Qualifications:

Education

a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Required
