Job summary

Framatome in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Mechanical Lead Engineer to lead complex design, development and analysis tasks for nuclear energy projects. You will ensure compliance with standards, review work products, and develop value-added solutions while mentoring team members.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, at least 5 years of related experience, and strong proficiency in ANSYS or GT STRUDL/SASSI.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs complex, non-standard engineering assignments in design, development, analysis, testing, and field tasks.
• Independently reviews department work products, risk assessments, and analyses.

• Applies technical techniques and criteria for complex adaptations.
• Develops new or adapted products/methods to provide value to customers.
