Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in design engineering in power generation, nuclear power or heavy industrial; 2 years in a leadership role preferred.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• US Citizen.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers and subject matter experts performing engineering analyses for nuclear power generation and other industrial facilities.
• Ensure engineering analyses, calculations, and technical reports are executed in compliance with applicable industry codes and standards.
• Maintain and continuously improve organizational technical capabilities, methodologies, tools, and processes to support evolving client needs and industry requirements.
• Provide technical oversight and approval of complex engineering analyses.
• Support business development activities by engaging with clients, identifying technical solutions, supporting proposal development, and communicating organizational capabilities.
• Ensure engineering work products meet project requirements for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor, develop, and evaluate engineering personnel to strengthen technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and succession planning objectives.
• Foster a strong nuclear safety culture by emphasizing conservative decision-making, procedural compliance, and continuous learning.
• Interface with clients, regulators, auditors, and senior leadership regarding technical issues, project performance, corrective actions, and organizational capabilities.
