You’ll work with current drawing and design software, learn documentation practices, and grow technical skills while supporting multiple project stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Preferred GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Bluebeam, AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow, and Bentley AutoPipe software preferred.
• Willingness to perform tasks including field walkdowns when required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs) for mechanical systems on nuclear projects.
• Support preparation of design calculations and specifications for major power plant equipment.
• Prepare mechanical engineering layouts, sketches, and conceptual designs.
• Assist in evaluating vendor bids for technical compliance to support equipment procurement.
• Coordinate with project team members and review design progress and outcomes.
