Job summary

Global Laser Enrichment LLC in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to provide hands-on fabrication, machining, assembly, and testing support for prototype hardware. This full-time, on-site role reports to the Manufacturing Development Manager and collaborates with Engineering and Operations to turn designs into precision-built equipment.

You will operate CNC and manual machines (EDM, mills, lathes), develop process plans, write or edit G&M code, and help validate fixtures,

Qualifications

Certificate, degree, or apprenticeship in manufacturing or a related field.
2+ years of experience operating CNC machine tools (EDM, mill, lathe, CMM).
Ability to generate and edit G&M code.
Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings to develop manufacturing and inspection plans.
Working knowledge of GD&T and machining processes.
Proficiency with basic hand inspection tools.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC and manual machine tools including EDM, mills, grinders, and lathes.
Set up machines, select tooling, validate setups, and meet drawing requirements.
Troubleshoot machining challenges and implement improvements for quality, safety, and efficiency.
