  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in engineering or related field is a plus.
  • 3-5 years’ experience as Manufacturing Assembly Technician or a shop technician in a production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain machinery and equipment in the engineering shop.
  • Follow technical specifications and blueprints for accurate production.
  • Assist engineers in prototype development and experiments.
  • Collaborate with engineering team to troubleshoot and refine prototypes.
  • Perform routine maintenance on shop tools and equipment.
  • Report malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
  • Manage and organize materials and components in the shop.
  • Track inventory levels and notify when replenishment is needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and address hazards promptly.
  • Keep detailed records of equipment maintenance and shop activities.
  • Document changes to prototypes or machinery.
  • Process prototype orders.
