Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking Nuclear Maintenance Technicians to perform mechanical maintenance on nuclear power plant equipment, including assembly, disassembly, maintenance, and repair based on qualification status. The role includes preventive and corrective maintenance to sustain optimum equipment reliability.

Candidate must meet ANSI requirements, pass MASS tests, obtain nuclear access, and be able to lift 50 lbs while working across variable shifts and travel to other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• ANSI minimum qualifications must be met for this position.
• Must pass the MASS test and basic Maintenance Training.
• Ability to gain and maintain nuclear access.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and use weight-rated equipment up to 325 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, maintain and repair nuclear power plant equipment as qualified.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to sustain equipment reliability.
• Follow safety processes, administrative procedures and technical procedures.
