Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company seeks a Planning Support - Electrical near Oak Harbor, Ohio. The role develops maintenance work packages and validates scope, parts, and clearances for field teams at a nuclear plant.

Responsibilities include issuing permits, coordinating with multiple groups, and delivering precise work instructions to ensure on-time completion while adhering to site procedures. A high school diploma or GED with 5 years of related nuclear experience is required; engineering

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED plus 5 years related electrical/operations experience in a nuclear plant; engineering degree can substitute.
Ability to analyze complex technical data from manuals, drawings, schematics, and specs.
Strong planning, leadership, and organizational skills with clear communication.
Proficiency with MAXIMO and MS Office suite for reporting and planning.

Responsibilities

Develop maintenance work packages for corrective, deficient, and other activities per site procedures.
Perform job walk-downs to validate scope, parts, clearances, and prep work packages.
Initiate permits/clearances and coordinate with support groups as needed.
Provide detailed work instructions and oversee field activities to meet due dates.
