Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of professional security experience in a nuclear, DOD, or DOE-regulated environment.
• Hands‑on experience authoring or revising NRC‑reviewed Physical Security Plans or regulator‑facing documents.
• Direct experience engaging with NRC staff in pre‑application meetings, audits, or licensing reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead DOE and NRC licensing security strategy across multiple tracks and milestones.
• Develop and demonstrate security approaches meeting NRC and DOE requirements for underground reactor design.
• Serve as the primary security interface with NRC and DOE, including inspections and program changes.
• Define and maintain security basis documentation with traceability to governing requirements.
• Provide actionable security requirements to Engineering, Operations, and IT, with cross-functional coordination.
• Scale the licensing security program for future Deep Fission sites and fleet-wide deployment.
