Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Licensing Engineering intern for a paid full-time summer hybrid position from May to August 2027 at the Cranberry facility. The role involves applying core engineering coursework, collaborating with internal teams, and preparing licensing submittals for nuclear power plant products.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, and have completed Sophomore year.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.

Responsabilidades

• Provide licensing and technical submittals of engineering design and analysis for nuclear power plant products, including nuclear fuel, spent-fuel management, service and maintenance, and instrumentation and controls.
• Work with customers and other internal departments on engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
• Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements.
• Develop expertise in US nuclear regulations.
