Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for a paid summer position in Pennsylvania. You will support development, analysis, testing, and implementation of systems for nuclear power generation projects, working with experienced engineers and contributing to real-world solutions.

You will report to the department manager and be located at our Cranberry, Warrendale, Blairsville, or New Stanton facilities. This is a full-time hybrid or onsite role for May–August 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and analysis activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, reports, and calculations.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
• Support resolution of engineering and manufacturing issues.
• Conduct engineering evaluations and research activities.
• Support testing and validation efforts.
• Collaborate with project teams.
