Holtec International seeks qualified applicants to join the Licensing team within the Company’s Corporate Engineering Division, located at the Company's KPS Technology Campus in Camden, NJ. This department is the company's center of excellence for licensing. This position would primarily support licensing of the SMR‑300 small modular reactor. In addition to Camden, Licensing Engineer positions are open in North Pittsburgh, PA.
The Licensing team is responsible for applying engineering and nuclear regulatory knowledge and experience in support of developing power plant systems and programs in accordance with US licensing requirements. This requires a demonstrated understanding of 10 CFR Parts 50 and 52, along with associated regulatory and industry guidance. The Nuclear Licensing Engineer will be part of the SMR‑300 Nuclear Licensing group, which is responsible for understanding, interpreting and informing our design basis as needed to comply with US and international nuclear regulations.
The Nuclear Licensing Engineer will work preparing licensing documentation, such as topical and technical reports, Safety Analysis Reports, and applications for certifications, permits, and licenses. The Nuclear Licensing Engineer will work closely with Systems, Controls, and Operations engineers. This role provides a unique opportunity in an exciting emerging technology and energy marketplace.
