Qualifications

• High school diploma with 5+ years in industrial, manufacturing or lab settings.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems including BAS, pneumatic, vacuum, electrical, PLCs.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams and P&IDs.
• Willingness to learn new technology, instrumentation and processes.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial and radiation environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform routine and non-routine installation, maintenance, calibration, testing and repair of equipment in a nuclear isotope facility, including HVAC systems.
• Perform testing and surveillance related to start-up and commissioning of new facility or equipment.
• Keep training current and follow regulatory requirements.
• Support department budget by promoting cost-effective decisions and best practices.
• Develop or assist in work instructions for maintenance activities.
• Provide clear feedback and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
