Job summary

Framatome in the United States is seeking an Instrument Technician to support maintenance and calibration of process control and measurement equipment at client sites in the Richland, WA area.

You will use, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain computerized control systems, instrumentation, HVAC and CNC machinery, ensuring accuracy and safety in an industrial setting. The role requires strong teamwork and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; may substitute experience for education.
• 4+ years relevant experience or completed apprenticeship.
• Instrument Technician training certification or degree (2-year program).
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and perform basic math.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment operation desirable.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Teamwork oriented and cooperative work style.

Responsibilities

• Use, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain computerized equipment control systems.
• Test instrumentation and process control equipment calibration procedures.
• Measure pressure, temperature, flow and level and apply standards during calibration.
• Maintain CNC machinery and environmental HVAC control systems.
• Collect data and monitor systems using standard and computerized equipment.
