Job summary

Framatome seeks an Maint, Instrument Technician in Richland, WA. The role supports maintenance of control instrumentation and process equipment, with emphasis on safety and reliability in an industrial nuclear environment.

Responsibilities include testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of a range of instrumentation, from pressure and temperature to CNC and HVAC controls. Onsite work with rotating shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Instrument Technician training certification or degree (2-year program).
• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience or completed apprenticeship.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment operation experience; ability to work rotating shifts and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Use, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain control instrumentation and related equipment.
• Measure pressure, temperature, flow and level; perform calibration procedures.
• Instrument troubleshooting (advanced) and electrical safety in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of industrial standards for instrumentation calibration methods and procedures.
• Experience with Nuclear Radiation detection/measurement instrumentation is a plus.
