BCP Engineers & Consultants seeks an I&C Project Engineer for nuclear power plant design work in Virginia. The role leads replacement projects and coordinates with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and management to deliver compliant design changes.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in electrical power design within a nuclear setting, strong I&C background, and experience with DCS/PLC systems. The role supports outages with flexible scheduling, including remote work options.

Formación

• Nuclear power plant experience and knowledge of its design, systems, and components.
• Experience with Industrial Control Systems (DCS/PLC) and related control devices.
• Familiarity with Electrical Distribution and Instrumentation & Control systems in a plant.
• Ability to apply engineering principles, codes, and standards to design change development.

Responsabilidades

• Review and prepare engineering products such as design packages, specifications, calculations, and evaluations.
• Oversee external engineering work ensuring compliance with Dominion Energy and industry standards.
• Provide technical support for Factory and Site Acceptance Testing and simulations.
• Interface with suppliers and stakeholders to support technical reviews.
• Analyze risk and failure modes and incorporate mitigation strategies in designs.
• Report status to engineering leads, project managers, and management on a periodic basis.
• Support construction and field implementation with design updates and issue resolution.
