Job summary

IntelliPro seeks an Electrical / I&C Design Engineer to support engineering and project execution in a nuclear/power environment. Assignment through 2031, location Mineral, VA. On-site with one remote day per week; typically 4x10s or 5x8s; per diem $110/day for eligible non-local candidates.

Responsibilities include design changes, reviews, FAT support, field implementation, and vendor coordination. Requires 5+ years in electrical/I&C, strong writing and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable field.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in power generation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical/I&C engineering principles, standards, and practices.
• Ability to interpret and apply engineering codes, regulations, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support electrical/I&C design changes and engineering packages.
• Review calculations, drawings, specs, and technical documentation.
• Support electrical power systems, relay logic, schematics, and circuit design.
• Coordinate technical reviews with multidisciplinary teams and external resources.
• Review vendor drawings, testing docs, specs, reports, and manuals.
• Support FAT, field implementation, construction, and project turnover.
• Monitor project schedules, deliverables, milestones, and engineering activities.
• Provide technical support and resolve engineering issues during execution.
