Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in Lenexa, KS seeks an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join its nuclear projects. You will design and document I&C systems, review P&IDs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across North America.

The role requires ABET-accredited engineering degree and PE license or ability to obtain, plus 7–10+ years in industrial I&C or nuclear plants. Travel <20% for reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

Design & Documentation: prepare scoping docs and design reviews.
I&C design deliverables: P&IDs, instrument layouts, control philosophy / narratives.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination: develop procurement specs, evaluate bids.
Collaboration & Client Interface: coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and clients.
Site Support: travel to client/vendor sites for reviews and coordination.
