Job summary

Enercon's Nuclear Design Group offers an internship focused on I&C engineering, developing and maintaining control systems for energy facilities. You will contribute to designs, testing, and documentation in a collaborative environment.

We seek Electrical or Mechanical Engineering students graduating 2027–2028, ready to start between May and June 2027, with strong communication skills and a foundation in circuit analysis and power systems. Onsite in Kennesaw, GA; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduating with a bachelor's or master's degree from an ABET- accredited school in one of our listed preferred majors.
• Preferred grad date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Available to start on an agreed upon date between May 2027 and June 2027.
• Preferred Courses: Circuit Analysis, Power Systems, and Control Systems.
• Solid working foundation with your major's core concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Ability to problem solve effectively.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Must be able to navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns and work outside.
• Willingness to travel for client and company projects/meetings.
