Job summary

BlueCore Energy seeks a Supply Chain Lead in Long Beach to build and manage procurement and supplier networks for nuclear-grade components, bridging engineering design and shipyard execution. You will establish ERP-driven inventory control, vendor qualification, and CGD controls, ensuring ASME NQA-1 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain management within nuclear, aerospace, marine, or other highly regulated heavy industries.
• Experience implementing and scaling ERP systems in manufacturing.
• Strong procurement engineering, contract negotiation, and inventory logistics knowledge.
• Familiar with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B QA criteria and vendor management practices.
• Experience establishing vendor audit controls and traceability processes.
• Strong collaboration with engineering, quality, and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Capture and translate complex engineering requirements into actionable supplier specifications for primary and secondary loop components.
• Identify, vet, and onboard suppliers capable of delivering nuclear-grade materials.
• Select, implement, and manage an ERP system to handle inventory, ordering, and logistics.
• Negotiate contracts, manage procurement costs, and establish cost-control mechanisms for startup and beyond.
• Work with Quality to ensure suppliers meet ASME NQA-1 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B requirements.
• Stand up supplier audit and CAP processes across vendor network.
• Build out a nuclear-qualified supply chain and shipyard qualification plan.
• Own procurement engineering, CGD, and counterfeit-parts controls across all procurement streams.
• Partner with finance on make-vs-buy analyses and capital planning for long-lead items.
• Establish document control and records management for full component traceability.
