Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in chemical, nuclear, mechanical, electrical, industrial, or another relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent directly applicable experience.
• 10+ years of experience in nuclear fuel-cycle, nuclear, chemical, petrochemical, refining, or related complex industrial environments.
• Experience translating regulatory, safety, security, safeguards, and material control needs into design requirements and operating concepts.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and configuration control of the facility concept of operations for normal operation, startup, shutdown, and maintenance.
• Translate safety, security, safeguards, and regulatory needs into traceable design requirements and operating criteria.
• Represent operations through design reviews to ensure equipment and systems are safe, operable, and testable.
• Lead staffing, procedure, training, and turnover plans with defined interfaces and milestones.
• Coordinate with maintenance, reliability, and project teams on interfaces, risk, and readiness.
