Responsibilities

• Develop nuclear criticality safety evaluations for fuel fabrication steps and related operations.
• - Perform criticality safety calculations using SCALE/KENO, MCNP, and similar tools.
• - Establish engineered and administrative controls to ensure subcriticality under normal and accident conditions.
• - Support licensing activities with technical reports and NRC responses.
• - Interface with vendors and transportation organizations for HALEU fuel handling.
