Job summary

TerraPower LLC is seeking a Fuel Development & Testing Team Manager in Bellevue, WA to lead the Natrium fuel development and testing efforts. You will manage a dedicated team of engineers, develop performance tools, and support licensing activities for advanced nuclear reactor projects.

The role requires 8+ years in engineering with nuclear quality and design control experience, and strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in engineering and 8+ years of experience.
• Two years of supervisory or mentoring experience.
• Advanced knowledge of nuclear quality programs, design control, and configuration management.
• Experience with ASME NQA-1 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B preferred.
• Self-starter with ability to lead small teams with minimal oversight.
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Fuel Development & Testing Team.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with Senior Manager.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, standards and regulatory criteria.
• Provide technical approvals on team deliverables.
• Coordinate with other groups to develop fuel technologies for Natrium Demonstration and future concepts.
• Inform and support the fuel licensing process.
