Job summary

S&ME is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer or Geologist to work on high-profile nuclear projects across the southeast United States. You will support various civil, geotechnical, and environmental projects, performing field investigations and data analysis required for compliance and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Geology, and the willingness to travel and work on demanding project environments. The role includes performing outdoor investigations, analyzing subsurface conditions, and preparing comprehensive technical reports.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or geology required.
• Field subsurface exploration experience is mandatory.
• Experience on nuclear projects is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fieldwork, including soil borings and drilling oversight.
• Analyze subsurface conditions and interpret geological data.
• Prepare technical reports for client and regulatory review.
