Job summary

Orano USA is seeking a Facility Security Officer to lead the site security program for a nuclear facility in Oak Ridge, TN. The FSO will establish, administer, and continuously improve industrial security measures protecting classified information and sensitive materials.

As the FSO, you will interface with Cognizant Security Agencies, maintain FCL eligibility, and oversee insider threat programs, training, and security inspections to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and DOE orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in security management or related field.
• Five+ years of industrial security experience as an FSO or senior security specialist.
• Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and 10 CFR Parts 25/73/95 or DOE security programs.
• Experience administering personnel clearances in DISS, NBIS, NISS or successor systems.
• Must be eligible for NRC Q clearance and able to work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the appointed FSO for facility security and access authorization programs.
• Maintain Facility Clearance (FCL), KMP listings, and security filings.
• Develop and maintain SPPP, SOPs, and classified information procedures.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate NRC, DCSA, DOE, and customer inspections.
• Oversee badge, access-control, and visitor programs for protected areas.
• Lead Insider Threat Program and security training initiatives.
