Job summary

Orano USA is seeking a Facility Security Officer to establish and continuously improve the site’s industrial security program at the Oak Ridge facility. You will oversee security measures for classified information, sensitive materials, and proprietary enrichment processes, interfacing with NRC, DCSA, and DOE to ensure compliance.

The role requires managing personnel security, access authorizations, and insider threat activities, while coordinating with corporate security and project leadership

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in security field.
• 5+ years of industrial security experience supporting classified programs.
• Knowledge of NISPOM and at least one of 10 CFR Parts 25/73/95 or DOE security programs.
• Experience administering personnel clearances in DISS/NBIS/NISS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the appointed FSO under 32 CFR Part 117 and lead facility security and access programs.
• Maintain Facility Clearance (FCL) eligibility and manage security filings.
• Administer access authorizations, visits, and badge programs for protected areas.
• Ensure proper classification handling and information protection.
• Coordinate with NRC, DCSA, DOE, and customers on inspections and readiness.
• Lead Insider Threat Program activities and security training.
