Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a Nuclear Facility Scheduler for the Advanced Test Reactor to develop schedules that drive efficiency on groundbreaking projects supporting mission-critical operations.

The role involves inputting and maintaining activities in Primavera P6, guiding POW/POD processes, and providing scheduling mentorship. On-site 4x10 schedule with Fridays off, while supporting critical nuclear and non-nuclear plant systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2+ years.
• Level 4 requires 9 years with a Master’s or 4 years with a PhD.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “L” Security Clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Input and maintain maintenance activities in P6 and support POW/POD processes.
• Provide scheduling guidance to customers and managers; manage multiple tasks.
• Maintain resource management processes for Maintenance and Operations personnel; analyze resource needs.
• Integrate activities requiring plant resources and perform resource analysis.
• Develop and maintain schedule reports (schedules, status, resources).
• Evaluate schedule variances and develop work-around plans.
• Mentor junior scheduling staff and represent the scheduling organization.
