Job summary

The University of Missouri Research Reactor (MURR) seeks a Facility Project Manager to oversee projects spanning nuclear/radiological operations, isotope production, and biopharmaceutical initiatives. You will monitor schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder engagement using PMBOK principles.

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Project Management, you will collaborate with Reactor Operations, Health Physics, Production, and other internal MURR functions to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related area with at least 2 years of experience.
Solid knowledge of PMBOK and project management principles.
Strong communication, teamwork, collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day activities of assigned projects and communicate status and risks to stakeholders.
Follow programs to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within specifications and budget.
Monitor and mitigate risks; identify and manage issues throughout the project.
Engage with subject matter experts to ensure quality of deliverables.
Provide periodic status reports to stakeholders.
Coordinate with PDC and campus groups to meet objectives.
