Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in Aiken, SC is seeking a mid-career Operational Estimator to support quantity takeoffs, estimating, schedule support, and change order preparation within our growing nuclear market.

Responsibilities include reviewing RFPs, specs and drawings, performing takeoffs and pricing, site walks as needed, and collaborating with estimators, engineers and designers to deliver cost-effective, constructible solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years estimating and quantity takeoffs experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong mathematical and computer skills; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and interpret RFPs, specifications, and drawings.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, estimating, pricing, and change proposal development.
• Conduct site walks as needed to support estimating and change proposal scopes.
• Coordinate with estimators and engineers/designers for constructability input.
• Participate in planning sessions with estimators and engineers/designers.
