Job summary

Amentum Nuclear Projects is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager based in Oak Ridge, TN to plan, direct, and coordinate engineering for large, multi-discipline design projects for DOE and national laboratories.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and teams, travel as needed, and support life-changing infrastructure across the United States, with strong emphasis on safety and compliance. U.S. citizenship is required; PE in Tennessee preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of design experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong verbal and written communications at all levels.
• PE license with ability to obtain a PE in Tennessee.
• BS degree in a related engineering design field.
• Experience in multi-discipline design projects.
• Management of large interdisciplinary engineering teams.
• USA Citizenship required; no Dual citizens or visas.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate engineering for assigned design projects to ensure client goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
• Manage large interdisciplinary engineering teams.
• Work in Oak Ridge, TN with potential travel.
