Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited in Wilmington, NC is seeking an Engineering Project Coordinator on a 1-year contract for nuclear projects. You will support engineering leadership, develop publications for specifications and reports, and coordinate with internal and external partners to streamline collaboration.

You will report to the Project Engineering Manager, ensure on-time delivery, maintain documentation, and support Lean improvements across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HS diploma/GED with 4+ years of business experience.
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel; familiarity with Adobe to modify PDFs.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with project management tools.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Engineering Manager.
• Ensure on-time delivery of assigned products and support.
• Coordinate with engineering managers, project managers, engineers and stakeholders.
• Interface with external partners as required.
• Plan, organize and coordinate technical activities in support of engineering deliverables.
• Protect IP rights of GEV.
• Support GEV Nuclear Energy quality requirements.
• Ensure adherence to nuclear safety and compliance standards.
• Streamline information sharing across GEV and partners using Lean principles.
• Support planning, coordinating, and executing projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop and maintain detailed project documentation and status updates.
• Track progress and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Coordinate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
