Job summary

System One is seeking a Design Process Engineer to support nuclear plant design engineering process development, oversight, and maintenance. The role focuses on design change control and coordinating engineering processes across multiple functions to ensure alignment and compliance.

Required are a B.S. in engineering and 10+ years' experience in nuclear design and construction, with strong knowledge of design control tools and codes (ANSI/NIRMA CM 1.0, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B).

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience.
• Strong experience in design change control across nuclear plant projects.
• Familiarity with engineering processes, configuration management, and lifecycle design.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforce and maintain engineering processes with emphasis on design change control.
• Coach and train teams on design control, configuration management, and related processes.
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies between procedures and deliverables.
• Support planning and ensure schedule adherence for design activities.
• Apply project management techniques to daily work and team coordination.
