Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for our Nuclear Services Group to lead the Engineering Unit in delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.

The role requires mentoring staff, driving continuous improvement, and building strong client relationships across locations such as Birmingham, Kennesaw, Palm Beach Gardens, Cedar Rapids, and Richmond (VA). The ideal candidate has 10+ years in power design engineering, an active PE license or plans to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of design engineering experience in the Power Industry.
• Active PE license or willingness to obtain an active PE license.
• Experience coordinating complex BIM / 3D models containing major plant systems.
• Experience with Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) or other large-scale project delivery methods is desired.
• Strong knowledge of applicable industry standards.
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering Unit to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to high quality standards.
• Mentor staff, drive innovation, and develop future leaders while strengthening client relationships.
• Define scope with Project Managers and Engineers; balance activities and assign work.
• Support marketing efforts and lead proposal preparation with input from project teams.
• Recruit, hire, develop, retain staff, and provide performance feedback.
