BWX Technologies, Inc. (BWXT) invites engineering interns for Summer 2027 at Nuclear Fuel Services in Erwin, TN. You will develop and deliver engineering solutions in a nuclear environment, create/update drawings and procedures, and contribute to design, testing, analysis, project management and procurement.

Candidates must be enrolled in engineering (chemical, electrical or mechanical preferred), be a U.S. citizen, and able to obtain a DOE security clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a degree in Engineering (Prefer Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical).
• Requires U.S. Citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance which involves an extensive criminal and financial background investigation and previous employment reference verifications.

Responsibilities

• As an Engineering Intern you will help develop and deliver unique engineering solutions in a nuclear environment.
• You will create/update drawings and procedures, design, testing, analysis, project management and procurement or materials as needed.
• Engineering interns must have strong attention to detail, as well as excellent critical-thinking and project management skills.
