Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. (BWXT) invites motivated engineering students to join our Virginia Summer Internship. On-site in Lynchburg, you will contribute to developing engineering solutions for nuclear applications, create and update drawings and procedures, and participate in design testing and project activities.

You must be enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Engineering, be a U.S. citizen, and be able to obtain a DOE security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program pursuing a degree in Engineering.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering unique engineering solutions used in a nuclear environment.
  • Creating/updating drawings and procedures.
  • Participates in design testing, analysis, project management and procurement of materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (pursuing)
