Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BWXT) invites an Engineering Intern for the Nuclear Fuel Services division in Erwin, TN to contribute to drawings, procedures, design, testing, and procurement in a nuclear setting.

You will need strong attention to detail and solid project-management, with effective communication to meet deadlines. Must be enrolled in an engineering program and able to pursue a DOE security clearance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an engineering degree program (Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.
• Strong attention to detail and good project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and delivery of engineering solutions in a nuclear environment.
• Create and update drawings and procedures; assist in design, testing and analysis.
• Support procurement, material coordination and project management activities as needed.
