Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Student Intern in the Engineering function at Entergy Arkansas, LLC in Russellville, AR. The role focuses on design bases, configuration control, and support to operations to maintain safe, reliable nuclear plant performance.

Ideal candidates are Mechanical engineering majors enrolled full-time, currently in sophomore year or beyond, with a minimum GPA of 2.8, and strong communication skills. The internship is onsite and requires up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Mechanical engineering degree with internship eligibility.
• GPA 2.8+ on 4.0 scale.
• Must be enrolled full-time and in sophomore year or beyond.

Responsibilities

• Maintains design basis for each site and supports maintenance of the licensing basis.
• Provides cost-effective modification designs to improve plant performance.
• Provides technical support to operations, maintenance, engineering, and other site organizations.
• Supports safe, reliable operation by identifying and effectively resolving issues via corrective action and work management processes.
• Develops engineering products in accordance with defined standards and procedures.
• Serves to outage engineering support teams. Attends training and maintains qualifications necessary to perform required group function.
