Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT seeks a Nuclear Engineering Auditor to drive quality and regulatory compliance across waterfront engineering, from design to construction and fleet support.

You will develop audit plans, review source documentation, present observations to management, and contribute to the annual Nuclear Audit Plan, building expertise across disciplines and ensuring successful execution of engineering processes.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelors of Science in Engineering and 0–2 years post graduate engineering experience.
• Experience with NNPP or NRC is preferred.
• Experience in audit, compliance, requirements management, or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop audit project plans including timelines and key attributes.
• Management and execution of audit plan.
• Presentation of observations and findings to all levels of management.
• Writing engineering audit reports.
• Review of, and coaching to support, management responses to audit reports.
• Participation in external audits, inspections, and evaluations.
