Job summary

NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC seeks an Engineer II to support the restart of the Duane Arnold Energy Center. You will apply engineering principles to plant restoration, system recommissioning, and operational readiness, contributing to design change products and regulatory documentation.

The role emphasizes technical rigor, conservative decision-making, and accountability for the quality of engineering work. Prior SDP/50.59 familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering/analytical tasks to develop reliable, cost-effective recommendations.
• Uses advanced computer models to develop and study solution feasibility.
• Prepares engineering documentation and assists with technical support for licensing and other regulatory proceedings.
• Ensures procured materials and services meet engineering specifications.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
