Job summary

Xcel Energy Services Inc. is hiring for an entry-level Engineer I/II in nuclear power engineering.

You will perform routine engineering work under close supervision, applying standard methods to support safety, reliability, and efficiency goals at the Xcel fleet. This role requires an ABET-accredited degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and the ability to obtain unescorted access qualifications for nuclear plants.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree required.
• 0–2 years of experience for Engineer I; 2+ years for Engineer II.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access qualifications for nuclear plants.

Responsibilities

• Work with supervision to perform routine engineering tasks.
• Prepare estimates for projects and support fleet goals.
