Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Oak Harbor, Ohio is seeking a senior leader to direct the Nuclear Emergency Preparedness program. You will ensure compliance with 10 CFR 50.47 and maintain the Emergency Plan, train and readiness of the Emergency Response Organization, and lead drills and improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• : 8+ years nuclear emergency management experience, ERO leadership experience, or a role with direct responsibility for emergency preparedness regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Nuclear Emergency Preparedness Program to ensure regulatory compliance and readiness.
• Direct EP drill and exercise program including planning, execution, evaluation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop EP staff through priorities, direction, coaching, and performance expectations.
• Collaborate with fleet Emergency Preparedness and management counterparts to align practices and support fleet drills and program activities.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure readiness of facilities, equipment, communications, and alert/notification capabilities.
• Support station management through participation in leadership activities and meetings.
