Job summary

Westinghouse Electric - USA is seeking an electronics pro for a 12+ month contract at the Westinghouse Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA. You’ll travel to nuclear sites to support precision EDM operations and I&C field work, starting with immersive training in July 2026.

Your responsibilities include installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of sensors, PLCs, and automated systems, plus setup and programming of ZAP EDM sinker machines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Military electronics experience preferred.
• 2+ years in electronics/I&C or related work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of sensors, PLCs, and automated systems.
• EDM operations: setup, programming, and operation of ZAP EDM sinker machines.
• Testing and verification: use oscilloscopes, DMMs, and vendor simulators; keep detailed logs.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and engineering instructions; execute test procedures.
• Equipment operation: use electrical/electronic test gear to diagnose and correct issues.
• Safety and quality: follow procedures and maintain documentation.

Then take your skills on the road—traveling to nuclear sites to support both precision EDM operations and mission-critical I&C field work.Your missionBlend hands-on I&C expertise with precision manufacturing.
