Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking a Mid-level or Senior Engineer to serve as the technical analysis expert for nuclear plant modifications, developing calculations and analytical products from scoping through implementation.

The role aligns with Lead Responsible Engineers, project managers, site engineering, and design teams, with duties spanning system design, digital configuration, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience (Senior)

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analyses and calculations to support plant modifications and design activities.
• Develop technical products used to justify design changes and ensure regulatory and design-basis compliance.
• Provide analytical input during project scoping, estimating, and execution.
• Support LREs and project teams by evaluating technical assumptions and engineering solutions.
• Contribute calculation estimates used to develop project budgets and engineering cost estimates.
• Ensure design changes are accurately documented in drawings, calculations, databases, and procedures
