Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking an Engineer at mid-level or senior level to serve as technical analysis expert for nuclear plant modifications, developing calculations and analytical products from scoping through implementation.

The role aligns with Lead Responsible Engineers, project managers, site engineering, and design teams, handling topics from PLC logic updates to digital system upgrades and cyber security defenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
• Maintain minimum access requirements and pass medical examination with duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analyses and calculations to support plant modifications and design activities.
• Develop technical products used to justify design changes and ensure regulatory and design-basis compliance.
• Provide analytical input during project scoping, estimating, and execution.
• Support LREs and project teams by evaluating technical assumptions and engineering solutions.
• Contribute calculation estimates used to develop project budgets and engineering cost estimates.
• Ensure design changes are accurately documented in drawings, calculations, databases, and procedures.
