Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking an engineering professional to perform analyses and calculations supporting nuclear plant modifications, and to collaborate with Lead Responsible Engineers, project managers, site engineering, and design teams. The role involves developing technical products to justify changes and ensure regulatory compliance.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2 years of nuclear-related experience, with Senior level requiring 5 years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements and favorable medical examination/test.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience (Senior)

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analyses and calculations to support plant modifications and design activities.
• Develop technical products used to justify design changes and ensure regulatory and design-basis compliance.
• Provide analytical input during project scoping, estimating, and execution.
• Support LREs and project teams by evaluating technical assumptions and engineering solutions.
• Contribute calculation estimates used to develop project budgets and engineering cost estimates.
• Ensure design changes are accurately documented in drawings, calculations, databases, and procedures
