Dominion Energy is seeking a Summer 2027 Electrical Engineering intern for VC Summer in South Carolina to support monitoring and troubleshooting of key electrical distribution and I&C systems at a large power plant. Responsibilities include monitoring system performance, equipment inspections, and troubleshooting; proficiency in MS Excel and strong communication skills are desired.

Candidate must be enrolled in an ABET-accredited program with a 3.0+ GPA and expected graduation after December

Qualifications

• Must be a student in an ABET-accredited Electrical, I&C, Electrical & Computer, or Nuclear Engineering program with electrical focus
• Graduation date of December 2028 or later
• Minimum 3.0 GPA required

Responsibilities

• Monitor and trend system performance in major Electrical Distribution and I&C systems
• Conduct equipment inspections and evaluate component performance
• Perform system walkdowns, corrective actions and troubleshooting
