Job summary

Dominion Energy is offering a summer internship in the Cayce, South Carolina Transmission Operations Center. Selected students will gain utility knowledge while performing outage planning and analysis of electric transmission facilities and supporting operator displays and training.

Must be enrolled in an ABET-accredited Bachelor's program in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a 2.5+ GPA and a 2028 or later graduation date.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in ABET-accredited Bachelor's program in Mechanical or related field.
• GPA 2.5 or higher.
• Graduation date in 2028 or later.

Responsibilities

• Assist outage planning and analysis of transmission facilities.
• Prepare and maintain operator displays.
• Support operator training and control room projects.
• Assist Renewable Operations initiatives.
• Learn and apply AutoCAD, GIS, and Office tools.
